Sports Bet News: NBA 2012-13 News: Rajon Rondo Hails Celtics Squad despite Ray Allen’s Heat Transfer

THE LATEST NBA 2012-2013 UPDATE – Rajon Rondo, starting point guard for the Boston Celtics, believes that his team has a much more formidable force than before.

In his Twitter account, Rondo praised his team by saying “…We have a lot of talented guys – the most talent we’ve had since I’ve been with the Celtics”. They have played past through rival teams in the 2012 Finals, only to be edged out of the Eastern Finals by eventual champions Miami Heat.

Most pundits argue that the roster formed by Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, Kevin Johnson and Larry Bird was the Celtics’ most powerful of all time. Rondo dispelled fears of a weakened squad due to Allen’s departure, pointing Courtney Lee as a formidable and better replacement in defence.

Point and shooting guard Jason Terry, known for his strong mind-set of winning the championship is a formidable member of the current Celtics squad. Power forward Jason Sullinger is another force to reckon after he scored 16 points and eight rebounds in his first preseason with the team.
