THE LATEST SPORTS NEWS – Roy Hodgson, manager of the England national team, said that new talents Raheem Sterling and Wilfried Zaha have great potential to become regular starters in
the squad in time for the 2014 World Cup.
After failing to win w1th ease over
a Zlatan Ibrahimovic-powered Sweden on Wednesday, Hodgson noted that his side
“can only get better” with the promising new talents he currently has.
Hodgson cited the cases of Alex
Oxlade-Chamberlain, Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs, among
others, as proof that the England squad is constantly experiencing significant
improvements.
